Well, sir, I've seen Loch Ness but I've never seen the monster and I've talked to ghosts but they've never talked back. I've watched the Midnighters twist at the mic right next to Hank's. I've been to Manhattan, I don't know how many times, but I've never been in the empire state building.
Maybe the saddest people that I can remember being around were Elvis and Janis and Jimi.

ReplyDeleteI have a weekly radio show up here in the Blue Mountains Australia. It’s called Wasted Days. I try to play as wide a selection of music as possible as long as it’s good. It could be some Mozart followed by the Pogues, Joan Sutherland or Joan Baez, Tom Russell and Tom Paxton, Dinah Washington, Chip Taylor or Jerry Lee or maybe some Dion or Townes or ‘30s blues and jazz and some rockabilly. It’s a packed 2 hour show but there always seems to be room amongst the 30 odd tracks to fit a Ronny Elliott one in.
